Chapter 9: Moon Rising (Part 1)

Well, I've decided to come back to finish writing this. It's been over a year and pretty much everyone has forgotten it by now, but I came so close to finishing, I can't stand leaving all the threads hanging, everything set up without anything set off.

So here comes the first part of what I hope to be the beginning of the final act, as things slowly start to unravel and we begin to understand how this dark tale came to be and the responsibility for all these tragedies will be assigned to the guilty parties...

I've not abandoned this fic, just have put it on... simmer, I suppose. Don't worry, there'll be more... eventually. Please understand that writing this fic has become much harder than it was when I first started and that I am sorry for all the inconsistency in style. Thank you.
